The mission of the Deer Park-Silverton Joint Fire District is to mitigate the threat to life and property from fire, medical and other emergencies through education, prevention, community preparedness and emergency response. We will actively participate in our community, and strive to effectively utilize all of the necessary resources available to provide a service deemed excellent by our citizens.
This joint venture visualizes that through consolidation we can provide the residents which we protect and serve the highest quality of service which they deserve. We strive to remain accountable to our citizens and we are continuously mindful to listen to their needs.

3/15/17- E89 on scene of a working SUV fire. VIDEO
1/13/2016- 2015 run totals are in and a new record has been set. The members of Station 89 responded to a total of 2,557 emergency runs.

5/25/2015- Every year after participating and honoring our veterans in the Memorial Day parade, we have a community cookout in the bays at Station 89. A great turnout this year and a big thanks to all who helped.
5/23/2015- At 1717 R-89 was dispatched to I-71 and Stewart Rd for fuel spill. Crew found approx. 30 gallons of diesel fuel on Stewart and the pump area of the fuel station.
6/13/2015- Rescue and Medic 89 along with Engine and Medic 47 were dispatched to the 9.4 mile South I-71 for auto accident with possible entrapment. R89 found one car into the wall with all occupants out of the vehicle. 89 units able to handle.
6/19/2015- At 0230 hours R89 and M89 responded to 10 mile marker North I-71 for one car MVA. Unit found one car into guard rail with moderate damage.
6/25/2015- Rescue and Medic 89 on scene with multi car MVA with minor injuries.
